About Kraken Inferno: The Last Hunt: In a world ravaged by man’s bottomless greed, the high seas roll with oil rigs dredging the last of nature’s most remote resources, and the oceans bleed with tar and pollution. Their peaceful lives disturbed by man’s plunder, the mighty kraken rise from the depths to defend their homes and attack the oil ships—swallowing filth and spreading carnage.
But the captain of the kraken-fighting ship, Inferno, is not the kind of man to fear this ocean monster. In fact, he might not even fear death at all—because once a man has lost the thing he once lived for, there is nothing left in him but heartbreak… and the deepest, coldest need for revenge.
In this tale of lost love, man’s destructive nature meets nature’s most destructive force. For there are dark promises in the sweet songs of the mermaids… and for a man to satisfy a desire for vengeance, it may first be necessary to surrender his soul.
