He’s Back! Beetlejuice The Musical + Alternate Versions of “The Whole Being Dead Thing”
He’s back… and deader than ever!
BEETLEJUICE is coming back to Broadway—and haunting a brand new house! Based on Tim Burton’s comedy horror film, this musical tells the story of a teen whose whole life changes when she meets a deceased couple and “a demon with a thing for stripes.” Variety reviewed the stage version of Beetlejuice, remarking about the show’s “High-spirited fun, wickedly good tunes and eye-popping visuals make this night of the living dead a scream.”
Performances of Beetlejuice resume onstage April 8, 2022 at the Marquis Theatre.
When the show first hit Broadway, they did something creative to promote it: They changed the lyrics for live performances of one of the songs as the show was promoted on the Tony Awards, the Today Show, and Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade.
